He opened Axis Spine and Sport in 2020 with the goal of bringing a unique blend of Chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, physiotherapy, and sports medicine to his home state. He enjoys playing basketball and lifting weights and spending time with his wife Pamela and their daughter Skylar.

Dr. Pamela Sommer, DC
Dr. Pamela Sommer hails from New Jersey and went to school at Rutgers University to study Dance. She received her Chiropractic degree graduating summa cum laude from SCUHS in 2018. Dr. Pam enjoys dancing, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her husband Dylan and their daughter.

Dr. Jason Gemmer, DC
Location: Tempe
Dr. Jason is an Arizona native, born in Tucson and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended the University of Las Vegas Nevada and then transferred to the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta Canada where he received his Bachelor's in Physical Education.
While working on his degree in Canada, Dr. Gemmer was a strength and conditioning specialist, boxing coach and mentor for amateur/professional boxers and MMA fighters. Although Dr. Gemmer is passionate about the coaching aspect, he knew that there was much more that he wanted to pursue in life not only for himself, but to offer a healthier path for his athletes.
Through searching for the next step, he moved to San Jose, California to attend Palmer West College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic. This is where Dr. Gemmer found his true passion and purpose, which was to give back and educate athletes as well as the general population about not only physical fitness, but the importance of proper body mechanics, muscle recovery and full-body rejuvenation.

Dr. Cameron Call, DC
Location: Tempe
Dr. Cameron Call graduated from Parker University in 2015 after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. His passion lies in helping individuals enjoy a life unrestricted by chronic health conditions.
While not in the office, you'll find Dr. Call soaking up some free time with his three children, Nash, Granger, and Tenley. Dr. Call also enjoys playing the piano, hiking, competing in local CrossFit competitions, baking, and eating Mexican food.

Irais was born and raised in Maryvale, Arizona. He graduated from Metro Tech High School in 2020 and is currently attending Phoenix College. He has practiced MMA since the age of 10 and has received his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

John is from Redondo Beach, CA and is a competitive powerlifter. He enjoys working at Axis Spine and Sport because he gets first hand experience progressing patients through their healing process and making them stronger and healthier in their everyday lives.

Caitlin is from Nashville, Tennessee where she grew up playing soccer, exploring the outdoors, and volunteering. She enjoys traveling to new places, trying new restaurants, shopping, and hiking with friends.
She loves working at Axis Spine and Sport because of the positive and energetic environment that inspires her to be a better version of herself everyday. Working in an encouraging space, learning new skills, and evolving relationships with patients is what she enjoys most!

Kristen is a hometown girl from Oakland, CA. She recently graduated from ASU with a degree in health policy. By day, she's at Axis Spine and Sport, helping patients feel better. But when she's off the clock, you'll find her hanging out with her loved ones or on an adventure exploring new places.
Kristen is all about making healthcare better for everyone and her caring nature shines through in everything she does at Axis Spine and Sport.
